Terms of Service

1. The software
OptiCore changes Windows settings (registry values, power plans, services, scheduled tasks and game settings files) to improve gaming performance. Every change is shown before it's made and backed up so it can be restored from the Backups page. OptiCore never modifies game files, injects code into games or interacts with anti-cheat software.
2. Free, trial and Pro
- Free can be used for as long as you like.
- Each PC can start one 24-hour Pro trial. Creating extra trials (for example by reinstalling or changing hardware IDs) isn't allowed.
- Pro licenses are sold as Monthly ($2.99 / ₹149 per month) or Lifetime ($12.99 / ₹999). A license is tied to the number of PCs stated when you buy it (normally one). If you change PC, ask us on Discord and we'll move it.
- Lifetime means for as long as OptiCore is offered, including all updates in that time.
3. License rules
Your key is personal. Sharing, reselling or publishing keys, or attempting to crack, modify or bypass the license check, is not allowed and the key may be revoked without refund.
4. Your responsibility
You use OptiCore at your own risk. We test every change carefully and everything is reversible, but PCs differ, and we can't guarantee a specific FPS gain or that every tweak suits every system. Measure changes with the built-in FPS Lab and keep what helps. Create a Windows restore point if you want extra safety (OptiCore can do this for you).
5. Games and anti-cheat
OptiCore only changes Windows and the settings files games themselves use. It's designed to be safe with anti-cheat systems, but game publishers set their own rules and we can't speak for them.
6. Recording and cloud features
You're responsible for what you record and share. Google Drive uploads go to your own Google account under Google's terms.
7. Liability
OptiCore is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damages, data loss or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use OptiCore after a change means you accept it.
